The location was absolutely perfect for exploring outside the city, with the Larissa Station just a 5-minute walk away. It was mind-blowing to have a real bed instead of bunk beds, and the apartment had a super nice kitchen, big bathroom, and even a locker and flat-screen TV. The wi-fi was excellent, and the kitchen had all the cookware and kitchen utensils I needed. I also loved that there was an outdoor dining area where I could relax. Plus, the proximity to the metro was jaw-dropping, making it easy to walk or take public transportation to all the interesting places. this place surpassed my expectations and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever come back.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Athens City Centre. We were able to walk to the National Theatre of Greece and the National Archaeological Museum of Athens in no time. The hostel itself was great, with a cool and friendly vibe. The owner even bought free fruits for all the guests, which was a nice touch.
The only thing we would've asked for is a better party atmosphere. As young party-going people, we wanted more opportunities to meet and hang out with other travelers.

Great Location: the hotel is conveniently located near the metro, cafes, bars, and the city center. It was easy to get around and explore the city. there were several hotels in the area, which added to the feeling of safety and comfort.
Inconsistent Heating: the heating system in the room was unreliable, resulting in cold nights. It would have been more comfortable if the room was consistently warm, especially during the chilly evenings.

During my recent transit in Athens, I stayed at Smart Shared Home. Although initially concerned about the area, upon closer observation, I realized the neighborhood was actually quite safe. It was refreshing to witness the vibrant daily life with children playing on the streets even late in the evening and elegant locals strolling around with their dogs. the hotel's location was ideal for transit as it was conveniently close to Eleftherios Venizelos airport.
While this gave the area a somewhat rough appearance, it did not impact the overall safety or the enjoyable experience I had during my stay.

For the price, I got great value and a fantastic room. The location was perfect, close to the metro and in a safe area. The staff treated me wonderfully, always attentive and helpful.
Breakfast choices could be improved with more variety.

We recently stayed at Smart Shared Home and had a great experience. The owner was friendly and welcoming, even providing us with free fruits during our stay. The hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen and cozy common room. The location was convenient, with easy access to the metro and train stations, and attractions like the Acropolis within walking distance. it was a fantastic place to stay at an affordable price.

We had a blast exploring the Athens City Centre, which was super close to the hotel. The National Theatre of Greece was just a hop, skip, and a jump away, and we caught an awesome play there. Plus, the National Archaeological Museum of Athens was epic! We geeked out on all the ancient artifacts. Definitely a trip to remember!
That we wished there was a better party scene nearby. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast at the hotel with our friends, but as young party animals, we were craving some late-night excitement in the area.
